Honor of Kings Returns for the Esports World Cup 2025 with $3 Million Prize Pool

The Esports World Cup 2025 is set to be a landmark event in mobile esports, featuring major titles like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. This year, the iconic Honor of Kings will join the competition with its own high-stakes showdown. The tournament promises fierce action, massive prize pools, and top-tier teams from around the world, all converging in Riyadh this summer.

As part of a three-year partnership with EWC, the Honor of Kings World Cup is upping the ante with a $3 million prize pool. The competition kicks off on July 15th and runs until July 26th, featuring 18 global teams, including elite players from the King Pro League and Asian Champions League. The tournament begins with a Group Stage followed by the intense Playoffs, with the grand final set for August 16th.

During the Group Stage, 16 teams will compete in double-elimination brackets. Only the top team from each group advances directly to the Playoffs, while second-place finishers face off in a Last Chance bracket to earn a spot. Matches will follow best-of-three and best-of-five formats, building up to the best-of-seven Playoffs where the KPL and ACL champions await. The event also includes a third-place match.
