SoundWire Free – Low Latency Wireless Audio Streaming from PC to Android

This is the SoundWire free version. SoundWire is a powerful wireless audio streaming app that lets you stream any music or audio (“what you hear now”) from your Windows or Linux PC directly to your Android device over WiFi or mobile networks.

Use SoundWire to turn your phone or tablet into a remote speaker, wireless headphones, or a live audio receiver. Easily stream PC audio to Android for music, movies, games, or system sounds from apps like Spotify, YouTube, and iTunes—anywhere around your home or remotely over 3G/4G.

With true low latency audio streaming, SoundWire is ideal for watching videos, monitoring sound, or extending live audio. It can even work as a baby monitor, listening device, or a wireless DJ audio link when using a PC microphone or line input. Raspberry Pi is also supported.

Before using SoundWire, you must install and run the SoundWire Server on your Windows or Linux PC (or Raspberry Pi), which acts as the audio source. Download the server only from https://georgielabs.net.

The free version includes ads, voice identification every 45 minutes, and a 10-minute Opus compression trial. The full version unlocks unlimited compression, multiple client support, no ads, no voice prompts, and a Pro Mode for precise buffer latency control in milliseconds. Android TV is supported via sideloading.
